Store Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy convenience store and fuel station. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maximizing store profitability, maintaining operational excellence, and developing a high-performing team. The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of the business, including staffing, training, merchandising, inventory control, financial accountability, regulatory compliance, and facility maintenance.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, leads by example, and is committed to delivering outstanding customer experience while driving sales and operational performance.

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt - Direct Hire
Compensation: Salary - $50,000 ($24.03) - $55,000 (26.44) Eligible Quarterly bonus $2500.00 Max
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store while ensuring operational readiness.
  • Lead, coach, and support store Team Members throughout the day.
  • Oversee staffing levels, scheduling, and shift coverage.
  • Monitor sales performance, fuel pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure the store, fuel pumps, parking areas, and restrooms remain clean, stocked, and guest ready.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
  • Review inventory levels, place orders, and manage product merchandising.
  • Complete daily sales reports, payroll processing, invoicing, and required operational documentation.
  • Conduct employee training and performance coaching sessions.
  • Monitor cash handling procedures, deposits, shrink control, and financial compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, food handling requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with company leadership on performance goals and operational initiatives.

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, and incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with ADA, EEOC, and company employment policies.
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of retail, convenience store, food service, or related management experience.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and retail systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred
  • Previous convenience store, gas station, grocery, or quick-service restaurant management experience.
  • Experience with inventory management, payroll processing, and sales reporting.
  • Knowledge of retail compliance requirements, including age-restricted product sales.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout an entire shift.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform indoor and outdoor duties in varying weather conditions.
  • Visual ability to operate registers, fuel station equipment, computers, and inventory systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers, employees, and vendors.
