Job description

Job Purpose
A Control Systems Engineer ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of subsea production systems. The role is critical for designing, integrating, and maintaining automation, instrumentation, and control logic that allow remote operation in extreme deep-water environments. This position safeguards asset integrity, supports regulatory compliance, optimizes production performance, and enables seamless coordination across mechanical, electrical, software, and process disciplines.
Job Description
  • Responsible for Controls sub-system engineering within the tender/FEED and establishing associated technical documentation in accordance with TFMC engineering practice and Company values.
  • Accountable for client relations trough meetings, presentations, interfaces etc.
  • Responsible for technical management of Controls scope of work, defined by TFMC procedures, contract, project BOM, schedules and budgets.
  • Responsible for understanding requirements and to communicate these to relevant Controls engineering groups.
  • Responsible to identify and coordinate input to potential variation orders for additional work in projects, outside scope or contract requirements, and propose PVO to Project Delivery Manager Responsible for identifying and analysing risks associated with engineering tasks
  • Accountable for delivering controls sub-system according to COMPANY requirements.
  • Responsible for approving design basis and coordinating design activities within discipline Responsible to define and maintain Controls internal and external intefaces.

You are meant for this job if:
  • BS in Engineering or equivalent with more than 7 years of professional experience in engineering or related fields. Work experience can compensate for lack offormal competency
  1. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
    • 5 to 10 years of experience as a project/product engineer or relevant
