Controls Technician Level I


Job Description
Under the direction of the project supervisor, the Controls Technician will help with the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Job Responsibilities

  • Low voltage wire pull installation and termination
  • Reading and understanding of mechanical plans and wiring diagrams
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Work according to project timelines and processes
  • Ability to work on your own or as part of the team
  • Work in multiple environments from construction sites to tenant occupied office spaces


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Building Automation is a plus
  • Valid drivers license
  • Strong desire to learn a skilled trade
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
  • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Must be able to handle physical requirements of the job which includes lifting, climbing ladders, stooping, and other demanding tasks
