L.L. Blue Engineering is expanding our Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) team, and we're looking for experienced, hands‑on technical professionals ready to contribute to real projects.

We're hiring at both Junior and Senior levels. Whether you're developing your I&C career or you're an experienced technician ready for greater responsibility, we're interested in professionals who know the work, enjoy troubleshooting, and take pride in getting systems operating correctly.

Required Experience

Candidates must have hands‑on Instrumentation & Controls experience and experience in several of the following:

  • PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
  • Instrument calibration and testing
  • 4–20 mA instrumentation
  • Electrical and controls troubleshooting
  • Transmitters, sensors, control valves, and actuators
  • Loop checks and I/O verification
  • P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Industrial automation and process control
  • Startup, testing, and commissioning
Which Level Fits You?

Junior Level: You have hands‑on I&C experience and a solid technical foundation but are still developing your ability to independently execute more complex field assignments.

Senior Level: You bring significant hands‑on I&C experience and can independently troubleshoot systems, perform calibration and testing, support or lead commissioning activities, work directly with clients, and help guide developing technicians.

Technical degrees, trade‑school education, military technical training, apprenticeships, and industry certifications are valued, but practical I&C experience is required.

Before You Apply

Hands‑on I&C experience is a requirement for this position. We're looking for candidates who have worked directly with instrumentation and control systems in industrial, utility, manufacturing, or similar environments and are prepared to apply that experience on client projects.

We're looking for professionals who are safety‑minded, dependable, technically capable, willing to learn, and ready to contribute.

A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites are required.
