Job description

Job Summary

The Project Controls Support Specialist works within the Project Management Office (PMO). This role supports and coordinates with PMO staff, business and support units, and other internal and external entities for development and maintenance of various organizational process assets including knowledge bases and other systems which support business functions.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Analyze usage metrics for business systems to identify process improvement opportunities utilizing value stream mapping and other Lean methods.
2.    Coordinate with IT staff and other consultants for design and implementation of process and system enhancements and service requests.
3.    Develop and maintain system documentation for SMS Governance and SharePoint Site Collections.
4.    Development and production of training content and other learning resources for improvement projects completed by PMO:* Coordination and collaboration with Workforce Development as needed* Performs training activities as assigned
5.    Monitor and audit assigned Site Collections to ensure content:* Is coordinated across knowledge areas to eliminate redundant materials*   Includes accurate hyperlinks and other cross references to accelerate information access* Maintains version history and is timely updated with approved changes* Complies with Governance standards for content, format, references and metadata
6.    Monitors Site Collection usage, performance data and metrics. Timely report status to PMO.
7.    Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
8.    SharePoint Site Collection Administrator responsible for organization and maintenance of content and libraries for various sites as assigned. These include but are not limited to:* Sundt Management System* Project Management Office internal and exter
9.    Support Project Management Office for the: a. Collection of organizational process assets including processes, policies, procedures, knowledge bases, performance data and other information used by the organization for the conduct of business. b. Aggregation, organization and retention of information collected by the PMO c. Management and implementation of business system improvement project

Minimum Job Requirements

1.    5+ years' experience working with corporate intranets; web applications & databases.
2.    Bachelor's Degree.
3.    Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

1.    May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
2.    Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures

5.    Will lift, push or pull objects pounds on an occasional basis
6.    Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
