2nd shift (3:00 p.m. & 12:00 p.m.)


We are seeking an experienced and licensed Heavy Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and controls across our facility. The ideal candidate will have strong controls wiring experience, a deep understanding of heavy industrial electrical systems, and a proactive, safety-focused work ethic.


Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and code specifications to determine the proper layout and installation of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electrical systems and components, including wiring, conduits, lighting, switch boxes, and related equipment throughout the facility.
  • Diagnose and repair AC/DC variable speed drives, motor controls, PLCs, process controls, and facility systems including lighting, alarms, and security.
  • Conduct and document preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate service records.
  • Operate industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, lifts, skid steers) and assist with installation, maintenance, and calibration of industrial instrumentation and control devices.
  • Prioritize assignments and work independently with minimal supervision, adhering to safety standards and regulatory codes
  • Respond to emergency repair needs, including off-hour calls as necessary.

Experience/Education

  • Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License (or higher) required.
  • 3+ years of electrical and controls experience required.
  • 5 years in the electrical field or apprenticeship OR 2 years technical school + 2 years field experience.
Requirements:
  • Experienced in controls wiring and troubleshooting, with solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical tools, materials, and safety practices.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and prints, with basic programming and computer skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a dependable, team-oriented approach and a commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movement.
