Job description

  • What we do:

Progressive Technologies is a BMS/BAS installer for high profile customers nation wide. We specialize in installing commercial and industrial HVAC controls and power management systems on Data Center projects.

What we're looking for:

  • Employees willing to travel out of state for work on long term projects.
  • Employees with general knowledge of new construction
  • Employees who are leaders, communicators, and team players.
  • Employees with electrical experience (Licenses are a plus but not required).
  • Employees with NEC knowledge who take pride in their work!
  • Employees with experience in BMS, fire alarm, or security. PLC/DDC systems knowledge is a plus.
  • We need employees with experience in: Electrical & Controls industry.
  • PLC and HVAC control system experience preferred.
  • Terminating devices and control panels.
  • Trouble shooting and diagnostic equipment knowledge.
  • General new construction industry knowledge.
  • Reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Electrical, Fiber or low voltage certifications or licenses is a plus but not a requirement. Working on ladders and/or scissor lifts. Bending and installing 3/4" - 2" EMT, Rigid, PVC, Robroy. Pulling cable/writing pull sheets.
  • We need to fill ALL positions as we continue to grow from superintendents to apprentices.
  • Employees must be willing to travel MOST of the year with breaks to go home every 4-8 weeks/Holidays.
  • Employees with Good communication skills and working well with others

Must have:

  • A current driver's license.
  • Be able to pass a background check and drug screen***
  • Reliable transportation to and from out of state for work.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • At least three years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Journeyman's license preferred.
