Job description

Turnkey Electric is looking for a highly experienced journeyman electrician that has worked on residential and commercial jobs. We offer exceptional pay, paid time off and paid holidays, flexible schedule, and options for bonus pay with a supportive open-minded work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Electrician Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and lighting systems including breaker panels, motor controls, transformers, cable systems, and control systems.
  • Perform maintenance on battery-powered emergency lights, and fan motors.
  • Help coordinate the movement of material to work locations.
  • Supervise apprentices teaching basic electrical skills.
  • Assemble Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, lighting systems, equipment, appliances, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Inspect transformers circuit breakers and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
  • Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.

Education/ Experience Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Delaware electrical license.
  • Previous residential electrical experience preferred.
  • Must know how to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Good knowledge of various test equipment.
  • Know National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
