Salary Range: $127,000 - $177,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Jenison seeking Controllers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and cost accounting.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Manage the annual budget and forecasting processes.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
