Job description

Corporate Controller (VP-Level) – Electronics Manufacturing

We're partnering with an electronics manufacturer on the search for a Corporate Controller to lead global accounting operations and financial reporting for a multi-national organization. This is a newly created role, built to support the company's continued growth.

Reporting directly to the CFO and partnering with exec leadership, this is a highly visible seat with real influence over how global accounting is run, including a major ERP migration already underway.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own monthly and quarterly global financial statements and direct statutory reporting and tax filings across all entities
  • Manage the external audit relationship and oversee transfer pricing compliance
  • Lead the finance side of a phased, multi-country ERP implementation, migrating from the current legacy system to SAP
  • Oversee manufacturing cost accounting and inventory valuation compliance across multiple plants
  • Support financial planning alongside the corporate FP&A team, and contribute to the company's technology/AI roadmap and M&A activity
  • Manage a team of approximately 15, including an Assistant Controller as a direct report, and work closely with Finance Directors across the various countries

What we're looking for:

  • 15-20+ years of progressively responsible financial experience, including at least 10 years in senior finance roles with people management responsibility
  • Manufacturing accounting experience is a must, with strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and support across production and inventory management
  • Proven experience leading a controllership function in a multi-entity, international environment
  • CPA strongly preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Broad ERP implementation experience, SAP strongly preferred
  • Comfortable presenting to senior executives and the Board

Compensation & logistics:

  • Base salary: $250,000 to $300,000, plus a 40% target bonus and a long-term incentive plan
  • Hybrid schedule: four days per week in office, with remote flexibility on Fridays
  • Location: Long Island, NY
