Job Description Summary

This Lead Treasury Analyst role is an opportunity to play a key part in supporting accurate, well-controlled treasury operations across cash management, payments, banking, and related technology processes. The successful candidate will bring strong treasury operations experience, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to resolving complex issues while partnering closely with banking providers, internal business units, technology teams, and offshore support teams. This is a functional lead role that provides guidance, oversight, and subject matter expertise but does not include direct people management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as a lead resource for the treasury team by providing daily guidance, answering complex process questions, and supporting issue escalation and resolution. Operate the short-term investment desk by monitoring daily cash positions, ensuring accounts are appropriately funded, and identifying opportunities to utilize or invest excess cash. Manage cash activity across multi-currency accounts, including USD, EUR, CAD, and GBP, with others as required. Oversee daily treasury operations, including wire processing, cash positioning, bank account activity, related controls, and compliant transaction execution. Troubleshoot complex treasury, banking, payment, and file transmission issues while managing bank connectivity and related file exchange processes with banking partners. Lead treasury and banking projects, including initiatives involving bank partners, business units, technology teams, and offshore support resources. Coordinate SOX processes, controls, documentation, testing, and audit requests related to treasury operations. Provide oversight and support to offshore team members responsible for daily business-as-usual treasury functions, including guidance, issue resolution, and process clarification. Lead testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of treasury workstations, payment files, bank files, procedures, reporting, metrics, and operational controls. Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, operational risk mitigation, and awareness of evolving treasury, banking, and payment standards, including ISO 20022-related changes. Demonstrate ownership, initiative, accountability, and sound judgment while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business degree.
  • 5-10 years relevant experience.
  • Hold Certified Treasury Professional certification or obtain within a year of hire.
  • Strong leadership skills and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with treasury workstations, ERPs, financial platforms, system upgrades, testing, user acceptance testing, and cross-functional implementation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury operations, banking products, account structures, cash management services, domestic and global wire processing, payment controls, and ISO 20022 payment messaging standards.
  • Experience supporting control processes, including SOX documentation, testing, evidence gathering, and audit support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with banking partners, business units, technology teams, and offshore resources.
  • Experience operating or supporting a short-term investment function, including familiarity with money market funds, commercial paper, and other short-term investment vehicles.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and other common business applications.
Working Conditions

Salary

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $82,000.00 - $109,000.00 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
