We’re working with a growing construction company looking to bring on a Controller to work closely with ownership and help guide the business through its next phase.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out for the Controller

  • Direct partnership with an owner/operator with 30+ years of success
  • Opportunity to build and shape the finance function during a key transition period
  • Stable organization with a long track record of consistent bonuses
Key Responsibilities for the Controller
  • Partner directly with ownership on financial strategy and day-to-day decisions
  • Oversee the full accounting and finance function across multiple entities

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting, and build out more forward-looking financial models
  • Put processes in place that can support continued growth and higher volume
  • Work closely with operations around costing, pricing, and investment decisions
  • Manage and develop the accounting team while keeping the culture collaborative and low-key
Preferred Qualifications for the Controller
  • Proven experience in a CFO, VP Finance, or high-level Controller/Finance leadership role
  • Strong background in construction or project-based industries
  • Demonstrated ability to support and scale a company through rapid growth
  • Strong financial acumen combined with business strategy mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
