Job description

KOMAN Construction, LLC. is looking for a full-time Laborer with construction or landscaping experience to support our government contracts in Harlingen, TX. The laborer will perform manual construction duties to support our earthwork and vegetation control program with Customs and Border Patrol.

Responsibilities:
  • Clearing and prepping vegetation around construction site.
  • Control traffic around work zones.
  • General construction labor duties include using hand and power tools and moving materials to and from work areas.
  • Signaling equipment operators to align and adjust machinery.
  • Loading, and unloading materials, machinery, and tools and distributing them to appropriate locations and personnel.
  • Understand and follow company operational processes, health and safety policies, and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum one (1) years of experience in the construction or landscaping industry.
  • Ability to commute to the job site.
  • Must pass company background and drug testing procedures.
  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor even in adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, climb, bend, crouch for long periods.
  • Value the quality of your work and take pride in craftsmanship.
