About the Role:
Action Termite and Pest Control Inc is looking for a motivated Pest Control Technician to join our team in Toms River, NJ! This is a great opportunity to build a rewarding career in the pest control industry while helping homeowners and businesses maintain safe, pest-free environments. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and making a real difference for customers, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and conducive conditions
  • Apply pesticides, baits, and other treatment solutions in accordance with safety regulations and label instructions
  • Perform termite inspections and treatments, including liquid applications and baiting systems
  • Develop and communicate integrated pest management (IPM) plans to customers
  • Maintain accurate service records, treatment logs, and customer documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients on prevention and treatment options
  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and chemical inventory
Requirements:
  • Valid NJ Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain one upon hire
  • Prior pest control or extermination experience preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify pest activity and entry points
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage a route, and stay organized
  • Comfortable working in various environments including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors
