Crews Control, LLC has an immediate need for Traffic Control Flaggers – No experience necessary!

Traffic Control Flaggers work with a team of 2-3 people and control traffic in construction zones along highways and roadways. As a new team member, you will learn to work efficiently to ensure the safety of the construction workers, civilians, your team and yourself. If you love the outdoors, appreciate daily exercise and enjoy working with people – flagging can be for you! We offer competitive compensation, a unique work environment and flexible schedules.

  • $16.50/hour starting rate (including paid training and certification!)

  • Full time hours with overtime available (Saturdays are time and a half and Sundays are paid at double time!)

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

  • Construction zone set up/clean up, including traffic cones, signs, light plants and arrow boards to divert traffic.
  • Implementing and overseeing traffic control operations and lane/road closures per MPT’s, maintaining compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Controlling vehicle, pedestrian and construction traffic safely through construction work zones, using a two-way radio and Stop/Slow paddles.
  • Perform all duties at the job site, based on site plan and contractor directions without direct supervision.

Requirements Include:

· High school graduate or GED preferred but not required

· Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills

  • Ability to read and write, good eye-hand coordination, and the ability to quickly respond appropriately to unexpected events.
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Available to work any shift and/or weekends
  • Candidates must be willing to travel 2 hours if needed
  • Stand 8-12 hours per day, walk 1-3 miles per date and lift up to 50 lbs and work in all types of weather conditions.
  • Pre-employment drug screen
