Job Description
The testing technicians are responsible for ensuring that systems are manufactured and tested to the highest standards. Testers connect the systems to PCs which are pre-installed with Arbin developed testing software, run QC testing, track testing results, and conduct basic troubleshooting on the systems to ensure they meet the Sales Order deadline.
Major Areas of Responsibilities:
  • Maintain quality standards and requirements through testing and analysis of results.
  • Prepare battery testers in accordance with product records, manuals, and customer requirements.
  • Update test logs and reports and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain testing stations environment, including general housekeeping, preventative maintenance, and equipment calibration.
  • Assist manufacturing and perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Highly self-controlled and disciplined, able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, and great capability in learning, equipped with a positive attitude, and good coordination skills.
  • Capable of reading, understanding, and executing production documents and safety manuals.
  • Capable of maintaining safety dealing with high voltage and current battery testers.
  • Capability to learn all aspects of the job and perform them with limited supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical circuit boards.
  • Mechanical background is preferred.
  • Able to operate large industrial electronics.
  • Basic computer skills such as emailing, document creation/editing, spreadsheet creating/editing.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Experience using basic hand tools preferred.
  • Ability to work OT, Holidays, and different shifts, as required.
  • Prefer to be able to drive a forklift.

Education and Experience:
  • High school or equivalent (Required).
  • US work authorization (Required).
  • Prior experience in electronics and manufacturing (Required).
  • 2+ yearsโ€™ experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred.

Physical Demands:
There is a frequent need to perform the following physical activities: Bend, stoop squat, push, pull, reach above the shoulders and lift up to 25~50 lbs on a regular basis.
