Job description

Our client, an industry leader in automotive manufacturing, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting automation and control systems development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: PLC Systems Engineer

Location:  Toledo, OH

Pay Range:  $35 - $40/hr. (full-time)

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop control systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA system configuration
  • Develop and optimize control algorithms for machinery, equipment, and industrial processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, automation, and electrical systems
  • Lead or assist with planning, designing, and executing control system projects
  • Integrate new control systems with existing machinery and perform system testing and validation

What's Needed?

  • Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), 
  • Strong knowledge and interest in IO/OT control systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
