Location: Moorestown, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time, 100% Onsite
Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance Required Position Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support the development and verification of web-based user interfaces for complex defense systems. This role works closely with systems engineers, software developers, and subject matter experts to develop requirements, support system design, and verify new capabilities. The ideal candidate has experience with systems engineering, requirements development, Cameo, DOORS/Jazz, and UI prototyping with Figma. Experience supporting naval combat systems or other complex DoD programs is highly preferred. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system and software requirements for web-based user interfaces.
- Create and manage requirements using DOORS and/or Jazz.
- Develop system models and engineering artifacts using Cameo.
- Support UI design and prototyping using Figma.
- Create design documentation for new features and enhancements.
- Develop verification plans and test procedures.
- Support software integration, testing, and requirements verification.
- Investigate technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
- Participate in design reviews, peer reviews, and engineering change activities.
- Provide systems engineering support throughout software development, integration, and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver new capabilities. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology, or another STEM discipline.
- Experience in systems engineering within a complex technical or DoD environment.
- Experience developing and managing system or software requirements.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Moorestown, NJ. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting naval combat systems, command-and-control systems, or similar defense programs.
- Experience with DOORS and/or Jazz.
- Experience using Cameo (MBSE/SysML).
- Experience with Figma or other UI prototyping tools.
- Experience developing requirements for web-based or operator-facing applications.
- Experience creating verification plans and test procedures.
- Experience with system integration, verification, and regression testing.

- Familiarity with Linux environments.
