Don't have a Nevada Guard License yet? You're still encouraged to apply! Our HR team will gladly walk you through the process of obtaining your Nevada Security Guard License through the Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board (PILB). Please note that all licensing fees, fingerprinting, and required training are the responsibility of the applicant.

Pay & Incentives

  • Security Officers: $20.50 per hour
  • Supervisors: $21.50 per hour
  • Security Officers receive a $0.50 per hour raise after 60 days
  • Night Shift Differential:+$0.25 per hour
  • Weekend Shift Differential: +$0.25 per hour

Security Officer Opportunities

  • Full-Time (12 hour shifts): 3 days @ 36 hours per week
  • Part-Time (12 hour shifts): 2 days @ 24 hours per week

Each shift will be staffed by:

  • One Patrol Officer
  • One Access Control Officer

Start Dates & MSHA Training
We provide the training needed to prepare you for success.

  • Current MSHA Certified Candidates: Start on the August17th Complete the required MSHA Refresher Course (If applicable)
  • Candidates Without MSHA Certification: Start on the August 18th Attend a three-day MSHA Certification Course before beginning work

Primary Responsibilities

  • Control vehicle and pedestrian access through designated entry points.
  • Conduct routine security patrols throughout the property.
  • Monitor and protect company assets.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, activity logs, and shift documentation.
  • Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with management, employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow security professionals.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and exceptional customer service at all times.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have:

  • An active Nevada Security Guard License.
  • Prior security experience and/or mining experience.
  • Military
  • Police Officer
  • The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Strong attendance and time-management skills.
  • The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
