As a Safety and Risk Control Expert, you'll bring your in-depth understanding of operational resiliency through risk identification, reporting, controls, and barrier elevation. You'll use your expertise to work alongside other colleagues to help our mission partner establish an office and execute requirements to institutionalize a culture of continuous improvement and safety-focused risk-informed decision-making to strengthen war fighting advantage. Work with us to develop the foundational structure, foster top down-leadership involvement and oversight to encourage bottoms up direct e nga gement to proactively identify operational risks, make informed assessments, prioritize resources, implement control activities, and report on a continual basis to optimize mission execution. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: * 5+ years of experience in multiple Navy war fare or mission areas
* Experience developing risk control frameworks, including implementation and execution of Safety Management System ( SMS ) and Integrated Risk Management ( IRM )
* Experience with shaping and coordinating Navy doctrine, concepts of operations, or concepts of employment
* Experience with the Navy Safety Center Risk Management Information (RMI) Streamlined Incident Reporting (SIR) system
* Knowledge of NAVOSH Program Management, including maintaining safe and healthy c ond itions in the Navy workspace
* Ability to interpret data to create lessons learned and achieve the operational mission
* Ability to develop, implement, and execute Force-wide Program Assurance Assessments
* Ability to produce senior executive-level written products and technical analysis
* Secret clearance
* Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: * Experience serving on a numbered fleet or major staff
* Experience in an expeditionary environment with the mission to man, train, equip, and organize combat forces
* Experience as an inspector for the Navy Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV)
* Experience administering a Navy Safety program at the unit or Type Commander staff level such as Explosive Safety, Hazard Abatement Program, and Motor Vehicle Safety
* Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
