Starnet Technologies was founded in 1995 to provide services and support to the Water and Wastewater industries. Starnet has since expanded to provide: engineering, proposals, estimates, custom CAD drawings, programming, system integration, manufacturing of custom & standard controls, and field services. Job Summary
The Electrician would be responsible for physically assembling and wiring electrical control panels. This position would also be responsible for start up of the electrical control panels.
Essential Functions
  1. Commercial wiring work in a manufacturing environment
  2. Aiding in construction of building - installing siding, trim work, hanging doors, and other associated tasks
  3. Running, bending, and hanging conduit
  4. Pulling wire
  5. Installing boxes
  6. Making terminations
  7. Support installation of new control panels
  8. Wiring generators and control panels
  9. Material handling

  1. Basic electrical knowledge preferably in a manufacturing environment - including how to read plans and specifications

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a typical shop environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is also frequent use of power tools, including saws, and forklift. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Required Education and Experience
