S&S Worldwide, Incthe largest manufacturer of roller coasters and thrill rides, is seeking a full time Electrical Engineering Manager to provide support to the Engineering department.Electrical Engineering ManagerJob SummaryThe Electrical Engineering Manager provides technical direction and team resource planning for the development and programming of controls and electrical systems for major amusement rides and roller coasters. Responsibilities Works with project managers and Engineering Director to define electrical and control system work scope for new projectsSchedules team tasks and adjusts priority(s) as needed to conform to master engineering schedule.Assists the Engineering Director with budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling for the Electrical design and engineering teamFacilitates development and construction of new project electrical systems, including: functional specifications, ride safety evaluation and documentation, IO lists, schematics, hardware design and layout, conduits and cabling requirements, assembly, factor checklists, factory acceptance tests, and installation supervisionReviews and approves all team design and engineering work through ECO processMaintains UL508A panel shop through concurrent conformance to codes, standards, and best practices The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job function.
