We are seeking an experienced Panel Builder to join our dynamic team. The Panel Builder is responsible for reading schematic drawings and assembling parts for electrical equipment. We are looking to add someone to our team who is self-motivated, dynamic, analytical, detail-oriented and who possess problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assembly, fabrication, and wiring of control panels
  • Metering, testing, and troubleshooting panel circuitry
  • Material order submission to Purchasing Dept. as required
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, to layout components and wire circuits accordingly
  • All panels to be designed and built in accordance with UL/ULC, ESA and ICS standards
  • Responsible for producing results which meet or exceed the criteria for quality control checks and inspections
  • Redline drawings to hand off to Design Dept.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education and/or relevant work experience
  • Prior control panel wiring, or industrial controls experience considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge in reading electrical schematics and drawings considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge of the electrical industry and electrical design principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment
  • Familiar with basic hand and power tools
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Great attitude with a desire to learn and grow professionally
