Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

This hands-on Assembler role supports the production of HVAC cooling units used in electronics applications such as data centers, ATMs, and computer systems. You will work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment, assembling components and products using hand tools and following detailed work instructions. Depending on your skills and team needs, you will contribute either to larger cell build and sub-assemblies or to light assembly tasks, with opportunities to learn multiple areas of the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and products according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Perform cell build and sub-assembly work as part of a team-based production cell, building larger components and sub-assemblies.
  • Carry out light assembly tasks using small hand tools and step-by-step instructions for more straightforward builds.
  • Use hand tools and basic equipment, such as screwdrivers, drills, and wrenches, to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies.
  • Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and production orders to ensure correct assembly and configuration.
  • Pick, gather, and handle materials and components required for production orders, ensuring the correct parts are available at the workstation.
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy, performing basic quality checks and visual inspections throughout the assembly process.
  • Apply basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and correct simple assembly issues or inconsistencies.
  • Work with small parts and panels using manual dexterity to perform precise assembly, wiring, and component placement.
  • Support control panel and electrical assembly tasks, including basic electrical wiring as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following established 5S or housekeeping practices.
  • Collaborate with team members in a cell-based or station-based setting to meet daily and weekly production goals.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment, and report any safety concerns.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced production environment and perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
