osition Overview

We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Builder to join our team specializing in the assembly, wiring, and testing of industrial control panels in accordance with UL 508A standards. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory requirements, supporting applications in data centers, industrial facilities, or critical care.

Key Responsibilities

· Control Panel Assembly

o Assemble control panels from schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

o Cut, strip, and label wires per electrical diagrams.

o Mount components such as relays, circuit breakers, contactors, PLCs, and terminal blocks.

· Electrical Wiring & Layout

o Perform point-to-point wiring of control panels.

o Ensure neat, organized, and UL 508A-compliant wire routing.

o Install wire duct, cable trays, and related hardware.

· Quality Assurance & Testing

o Inspect and test panels for functionality, continuity, and safety before shipment.

o Verify conformance to UL 508A and internal quality standards.

o Troubleshoot wiring or assembly issues.

· Documentation & Compliance

o Maintain accurate records of panel builds and test results.

o Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve design or compliance issues.

o Adhere to all workplace safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Experience:

o 5+ years of experience building industrial control panels.

o Familiarity with UL 508A requirements and standards.

· Skills & Knowledge:

o Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and panel layout drawings.

o Proficiency with hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and measuring instruments.

o Knowledge of control components: PLCs, VFDs, relays, terminal blocks, etc.

· Certifications (Preferred):

o UL 508A certification knowledge or formal training.

o OSHA 10/30-hour safety training.

· Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
