  • Ability to manage teams of quality control departments in multiple states.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Interpret test results, compare findings to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations for product release.
  • Perform visual inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with all quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with production, operations, sales, and technical services teams to identify and resolve production challenges affecting quality.
  • Develop and implement quality control training programs for production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities.
  • Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the concrete industry to recommend enhancements to quality control processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to uphold SRMโ€™s reputation for excellence.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management. 
  • ACI certification preferred and/or the ability to obtain ACI certifications.
  • Strong understanding of concrete technology, testing methods, and quality assurance best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management software.
  • Flexible and able to accommodate varying shifts based on scheduled pours, including day and overnight shifts.
  • Willingness to undergo SRMโ€™s pre-employment screenings.
