Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis and modeling;
  • Watershed, stormwater management, and stream restoration design and analysis;
  • Surface water quality/hydrodynamic modeling and environmental data analysis;
  • Green infrastructure/low impact development best management practice design;
  • Floodplain modeling and permitting;
  • Erosion and sediment control design;
  • Clean Water Act/National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) compliance;
  • Civil/infrastructure design and site layout;
  • Site visits/field investigations; and
  • Preparation of technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, etc.
  • Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.ย 
Education and Licensure
  • Bachelors degree in civil, environmental, or agricultural/biosystems engineering or related science. (required)
  • Advanced degree in engineering or science. (preferred)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Prior internship experience in environmental consulting. (preferred)
  • Experience with modeling/design tools such as ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, HY-8, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and TR-55. (preferred)
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)
  • Some field work and overnight travel. (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
