Position OverviewMLR.org is thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's prestigious Patient Care Unit. In this vital role, your expertise will be crucial in delivering outstanding patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes for those you serve. You will play a key role in assessing patient needs, coordinating care, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams to provide the highest level of support and treatment.
Job Responsibilities- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional health.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and diagnoses.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, identifying any changes or concerns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and treatments.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Infection Control: Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Advocacy: Advocate for patients' rights and needs, providing support and guidance throughout their care.

- Education:
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Certifications:
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Licensure:
- Basic Life Support (BLS). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
