Contractual Schematic Analyst Jobs (NOW HIRING)

This position requires onsite work in Tucson, AZ and an active Secret security Clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.
 
Solidus is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team.  This onsite role in Tucson supports the full lifecycle of test system development. The engineer works hands on with modern tools and technologies to design, integrate, and troubleshoot test solutions used across both engineering labs and production environments. The position contributes to all phases of test product development while maintaining technical, cost, and schedule commitments, resolving issues independently or within cross functional teams.  Day in the Life: * Design and integrate test system hardware, interface assemblies, and associated components 
* Develop engineering and production test solutions, including cabling, schematics, and circuit analysis 
* Support all phases of test product development while managing technical, cost, and schedule requirements 
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout test system implementation and deployment 
* Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, production ready test products 
* Work with Cross functional team to coordinate electrical engineer design and integration tasking  Required Qualifications & Experience: * Active Secret clearance is required
* Bachelor's Degree * Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment
* 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and three (3) years of relevant experience
* Experience with factory/laboratory test instrumentation, electronics (Ex. oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters, network analyzers, etc)
* Ability to read drawings/schematics and troubleshoot hardware and test equipment instrumentation in Factory Test Platform solutions
* Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF designs at subsystem or system level
* Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools including but not limited to: Creo Schematic, Mentor Capital, Altium, DX Designer
* Experience with Creo Schematic, Mentor Capital 
* Basic or introductory knowledge of common software languages (C/C++/C#) to a level of reading/following code for EEs
* Knowledge of computer hardware interface and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422, ethernet, SPI, CAN, etc Preferred Qualifications & Experience: * Software experience controlling test instrumentation via LabVIEW, software SCPI commands, or similar
* Experience designing/integrating full engineering and production test systems (analog, digital, mixed signal, RF), test interface adapters, interconnect drawings, mixed-signal cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.
