How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Lead Outbreak Response: Track and investigate infection clusters to stop the spread of germs quickly.

  • Review Patient Data: Check daily reports to find and fix hidden infection risks.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certification in Infection Prevention and Control required within 3 years of hire required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking
  • Certified in Infection Control (CIC) credential and 3+ years of Infection Prevention experience with surgical background is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of hospital staff (Executive Leadership, Physicians, front line teams, nursing, etc.)
  • Demonstrable accountability, critical thinking, follow-through, and relationship-building skills.
