To thrive as a Contractual Remote Game Developer, you need strong programming skills (e.g., C++, C#, Unity, or Unreal Engine), a solid understanding of game design principles, and a relevant degree or portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with version control systems (like Git), collaboration platforms (such as Slack or Jira), and proficiency in game development tools are typically required.
