Job description

A well-known real estate developer in Atlanta, is seeking a Georgia-licensed, in-house counsel with 4 to 5 years of experience handling transactions for commercial, mixed-use, and single-family development. Representative work includes representation in the acquisition and disposition of real estate, due diligence, title, and survey examination, addressing zoning, land use, and land entitlement issues, negotiating economic development incentives, property development, and new construction, and real estate financing, among other responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
  • Active license to practice law in Georgia
  • 4 to 5 years of commercial real estate experience as either in-house or law firm
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of applicable laws
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced work environment
