Position Summary

Our organization specializes in evidence-based behavioral therapies aimed at assisting children facing challenges associated with autism spectrum disorders. Our goal is to enhance the independence and quality of life for our clients and their families.

The Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) is responsible for providing clinical expertise, leadership, feedback, and guidance to ensure the success of each assigned client case.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that client families receive consistent, high-quality clinical services, leading to significant client progress and satisfaction with our offerings.
  • Deliver direct services to clients, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), oversight of assigned cases, and consultation for cases managed by other Clinical Supervisors (BCBA).
  • Support the professional development of your clinical team, ensuring they achieve success in their roles based on their experience and growth stage.
  • Provide oversight, feedback, mentoring, and encouragement to develop skilled Program Managers and Interventionists.
  • Maintain a minimum of 5 billable hours per workday (25 hours per week / 110 hours per month).
  • Supervise the Program Manager team to ensure they meet a minimum of 28 billable hours per week (120 hours per month).
  • Deliver quality clinical supervision in line with BACB standards to maintain treatment integrity and quality assurance across various clients, settings, and funding sources, including direct observation and necessary protocol adjustments.
  • Conduct developmental skills assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP) to create and evaluate individualized treatment recommendations and objectives.
  • Provide supervision and documentation in accordance with BACB standards for RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBA candidates as required.
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, including Functional Analyses, to develop function-based treatment plans.
  • Offer precise skill assessments and direct feedback through Performance Management metrics to clinical team members, including Behavior Interventionists and Program Supervisors/Managers.
  • Deliver training as needed to teachers, technicians, parents, and others using Behavior Skills Training (BST), which includes discussion, modeling, practice, and feedback.
  • Attend Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and interdisciplinary team meetings when applicable, presenting proposed goals, objectives, behavioral interventions, and necessary modifications/adaptations.
  • Collaborate with school personnel by observing students, providing written programming and behavioral recommendations, implementing training as necessary, and offering regular follow-up support as authorized.

  • Strong skills in ABA and clinical practices
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to consistently schedule and attend client appointments and team meetings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clear language and accurate grammar
  • Effective time management skills, balancing billable and non-billable hours, as well as onsite and in-office supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering rapport with clients and colleagues, and building connections between the clinical team and client families
  • Team-oriented attitude with a focus on customer service, aligned with organizational values and dedicated to serving client families and colleagues
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, with Spanish preferred
