Job Description Customer Support SpecialistADM Animal NutritionDes Moines, IA or Decatur, IL or Quincy, ILReporting to the NA Supply Chain Manager the Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting end-to-end supply chain operations in a variety of functions in order to bring value to the company. This position will coordinate efforts with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics to provide an industry leading customer experience overseeing the order fulfillment process from entry to delivery.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer relationship managementServe as primary point of contact for assigned customersAnswer customer inquiries via email and phoneManage customer complaint communications, returns, credits, and certificate requestsOrder ManagementProcess customer orders accurately and efficiently within ERPProvide timely order confirmation and shipment status updates to customersProactively identify and resolve order issues, track shipments, and expedite orders, as neededExecute the receiving and invoicing of direct shipment ordersMaintain accurate customer records, order documentation, and system data for complianceCross functional collaboration and business supportGenerate and analyze order-related reports to identify trends, improve service levels, and support business objectives.Serve as a key liaison to the Sales team to support salesforce functions and provide customer data and analysisActively support continuous improvement efforts focused on increasing On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance.CRITICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESSuperior verbal and written communications, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritized work load.Extensive keyboard and telephone use, sitting for extended periods of time.Strong computer skills, preferably with Microsoft Office applications and ERPs such as OracleWillingness to learn, help others, and flexibility to adapt to change.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
