Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
Location: Dallas, Texas
Department: Interventional Radiology (IR)
Shift: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (Night Shifts Available)
Schedule: 410 (40 Hours per Week)
Employment Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: Competitive Pay (Based on Experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Available (as applicable)
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) performs Interventional Radiology procedures for ambulatory and hospitalized patients as requested by physicians or licensed providers. The technologist supports diagnostic and treatment procedures while ensuring quality patient care and adherence to established protocols.
Requirements:
Graduate of an Accredited Program
Must have Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
Experience in a busy IR lab preferred
Neuro and Trauma experience preferred
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire/transfer
ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required
Must hold a Texas MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) license
Must obtain one of the following certifications within 2 years of hire:
ARRT-CI Cardiac Interventional Radiography
ARRT-VI Interventional Radiography
ARRT-CV Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography
Call Requirement:
78 call shifts per month
1 call shift per week
1 weekend call per month (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
Must be within a 30-minute call radius
