Job description:
Desired skills

STRONG Project Manager skillset (PM Processes/Best Practices): 5+ years corporate PM experience completing large scale/complex IT implementations with large/detailed project plans (critical path timelines in Microsoft Project) and directly managing their financial budgets. Skilled problem solver and change champion/leader.

Self-starter: Works autonomously to determine/develop/drive the proper process/documentation needed to motivate people and drive teams to accomplish goals to ensure success.

Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Experience speaking in large groups and delivering presentations to executive leadership. Must be able to take leadership feedback, quickly absorb and make decisions. Experience managing IT vendors (system integrators) adhering to SOW/T C, scope management and external vendor financials is required.

PMP and Agile certified. Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
Domain Knowledge Requirements:

Experience managing divestiture or similar work involving separating a business unit from its parent organization while ensuring operational continuity. This role requires an understanding of hardware, software, and data to the level that the individual can foresee issues and risks the company will face when validating the transition readiness for their systems, hardware, and data, and have effective plans to resolve issues and significantly minimize risks.
Experience

Experience planning and executing successful corporate or plant separations involving infrastructure/hardware, software/systems and data migrations while ensuring operational data history and integrity/security to avoid any disruptions to business due to separation activities.
(Experience with same in the Truck OEM/Heavy Equipment/Electric Vehicle space is a significant plus.)

Experience with: Infrastructure Separation and Carve-Out. Operational Technology (OT) Separation. Application and ERP Migration. Data Privacy and Security Compliance. End-User Support and Device Transition. IT Asset Inventory and License Management. Contractual and License Transfer. Managing Transition Service Agreements (TSAs). Business Continuity Planning (BCP).

Requires in-depth knowledge of Project Management processes and best practices.

Track record of implementing large scale and complex IT initiatives and their budgets is required.

PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certifications are strongly preferred.

Experience using Agile practices to deliver is a must. Agile Certifications (CSM, CSP, etc.) are strongly preferred. Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Azure DevOps (ADO) is a plus.

Strong working knowledge of project finance and best practices is a must. Master of Business Administration preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word is required. Proficiency developing detailed project schedules and performing critical path analysis using Microsoft Project is required.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt training and/or certification is a plus.

Proficient in applying established standards, resolving a wide range of complex problems of diverse scope in innovative ways, including problems where precedent may not exist.

Change Champion with demonstrated history of success leading difficult projects where change is required and be comfortable leading organizational change.
Responsibilities

Must be comfortable with real-time decision-making in the absence of complete or perfect information.

Expected to identify, evaluate, document and develop mitigation plans for project risks and issues.

Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Must be a skilled problem-solver who follows through on corrective action implementation.

Work is accomplished through independent contributions or project work requiring advanced subject area knowledge and decision-making skills.

Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes.
