Job description

Position Title: Project  Manager                   Location: Daytona

Department: Field Operations                      Position Type: Exempt / Full-time

 

General Summary


Classic Floors Ferrazzano takes pride in providing premium products and installations across flooring, cabinets, countertops, window treatments, and paver scopes of work. Our team upholds rigorous standards of excellence, offering a curated selection of top-tier materials and expert workmanship that consistently exceeds expectations.

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee the field operations around the Daytona area. The role acts as key point of contact for our installers and for our builders, providing daily support to achieve excellent results during the targeted schedule. 


Essential Job Functions

  • Evaluate and anticipate possible scenarios to prevent any problems. 
  • Ensure completion of installation jobs according to builder install schedule.
  • Ensure layout, materials, budget, and quantity accuracy.
  • Work with the Production Coordinator to ensure accurate delivery dates of materials (material request dates).
  • Collaborate with trade partners throughout installation to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure job sites adhere to safety standards
  • Assist in resolving issues/conflicts related to daily construction activities (eg. vendor contracts, work orders, job progress, layout).
  • Perform pre-and-post installation inspections.
  • Perform accurate field measurements.
  • Act as a courier for miscellaneous job-related materials.
  • Accompany non-employee (subcontractor) technicians on occupied warranty jobs.
  • Authorize installer payment for work completed.
  • Track all jobsite milestone dates in scheduling software.


Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally in both languages preferred.
  • Prior experience using common software programs.

Other Requirements

  • This role would require the ability to lift, push, and/or pull loads in excess of 50 lb.
  • Fundamental mathematical comprehension required.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle available for company use required. 
  • Travel required: daily travel required.
