Job Description Cloud Security Engineer Pay: $75 - $77 Locations Dallas, TX Phoenix, AZ Charlotte, NC Position Overview We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support enterprise cloud security operations, monitoring, and security engineering initiatives across Azure and Google Cloud environments. This role will focus on cloud security tooling, automation, integrations, risk monitoring, and security posture management within a highly regulated enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Support cloud security engineering and operational initiatives across Azure and Google Cloud platforms Configure, monitor, and optimize cloud security tools including Wiz or similar CNAPP platforms Develop automation and scripting solutions using Python, Bash, Terraform, or PowerShell Support integrations between cloud security tools and enterprise platforms such as Splunk and ServiceNow Analyze security findings, cloud risks, IAM issues, and information protection alerts Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud security governance and remediation efforts Participate in Agile Scrum or Kanban delivery environments Required Qualifications 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience Strong experience with Azure and Google Cloud security, configurations, and hardening practices Experience with Wiz or similar cloud security/CNAPP platforms Experience with scripting and automation tools Knowledge of IAM, cloud security frameworks, and security best practices Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities within enterprise environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Google Security Command Center, or Aqua Security Experience within regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government Familiarity with CIS, NIST, CSA, or related security frameworks Cloud and security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSK, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
