This person will own engineering operations, shape a strong engineering culture, refine development processes, and work in close partnership with product, security, and infrastructure teams. We're looking for a seasoned engineering leader who has built teams, scaled systems, and shipped enterprise-grade software in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set the vision and strategic direction for several engineering teams.
  • Build engineering roadmaps that support company objectives, product strategy, and business growth.
  • Cultivate a culture rooted in innovation, ownership, quality, and constant improvement.
Team Management & Development
  • Coach and develop engineering managers and senior engineers, raising both technical and managerial performance.
  • Design hiring approaches that draw in and retain strong engineering talent.
  • Lead performance management, career development, and succession planning across the org.
Execution & Delivery
  • Manage the planning and execution of engineering projects to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Set and uphold engineering standards โ€” best practices, coding conventions, architecture principles, and operational discipline.
  • Work with Product Management to shape requirements, set priorities, and refine the roadmap.
Technical Oversight

  • Ensure software solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and performant.
  • Assess emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks that could strengthen engineering output and product capability.
Operational Excellence

  • Keep executive stakeholders informed on progress, risks, and priorities.

  • Background in regulated or high-security industries (finance, healthcare, defense) is a plus.
