Job Description
*This position is contingent upon contract award*
SOSi is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our Air Force Contract Augmentation (AFCAP) VI Program worldwide. AFCAP serves as a responsive, global force multiplier for commanders and Government agencies, supporting contingencies both within the contiguous United States and outside the contiguous United States. AFCAP delivers rapid solutions in design/construction, service contracts, and logistics/commodities.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Provide overall leadership and management for multiple government task orders operating simultaneously across geographically dispersed locations.
  • Serve as the primary program interface with government customers and internal SOSi leadership.
  • Lead program execution across Engineering, Force Support, Construction, Services, and Commodities.
  • Apply knowledge of government appropriations, funding, and acquisition processes to support successful program execution.
  • Oversee program financial performance, staffing, schedules, deliverables, and contractual commitments.
  • Develop and execute program plans, performance metrics, risk-management strategies, and corrective actions.
  • Identify and resolve program issues while proactively managing risks and competing priorities.
  • Lead and coordinate geographically dispersed teams, subcontractors, vendors, and functional organizations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders and key customer representatives.
  • Prepare and deliver program status updates, performance reports, briefings, and recommendations to senior leadership and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, security, quality, and operational requirements.
  • Support contract transitions, modifications, proposals, and business-development activities as needed.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer service, and mission success.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Five (5) years of program management experience within the last seven (7) years.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
    • Government appropriations.
    • Air Force Mission Support functions, specifically Engineering and Force Support.
    • Construction, Services, and Commodities.
    • Government acquisitions.
  • Experience managing multiple task orders valued at more than $2M each simultaneously across geographically dispersed locations, or equivalent deployment experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and effectively lead teams in a complex government-contracting environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachlor's degree in a related field, or PMP certification is preferred.

Additional Information
Work Environment
  • Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties at various CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • The position location will be either Reston, VA or Panama City, FL.
  • May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
