Join The DME Source team and play a critical role in providing essential durable medical equipment (DME) to our patients. This position requires an organized and detail-oriented professional to manage the full cycle of customer service and order processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers, answering incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, and greeting walk-in customers.

  • Process all customer orders accurately and efficiently, including new customer computer file creation and extensive data entry.

  • Manage comprehensive patient documentation, including patient information forms, service instructions, and prescription forms for specialized equipment like CPAP.

  • Qualify customer transactions for third-party billing by meticulously verifying insurance coverage, checking deductibles, and securing necessary authorizations (including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance).

  • Proactively contact patients for scheduled supply refill orders and manage follow-up on outstanding medical documentation.

  • Handle customer inquiries regarding equipment availability, coverage guidelines, and initial billing questions.

Qualifications:
