Job description

Overview
Apogee has an exciting opportunity for a Configuration/Data Management Analyst to support the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO) at Warner Robins AFB, GA. The MAR JPO manages GPS User Equipment systems, including MAGR-2K, EGI, R-EGI, SDUE, and antenna systems. This position is critical to maintaining configuration control and data management across multiple acquisition programs.
This is a full-time position located at Warner Robins Air Force Base (AFB) or Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), with telework capability for local candidates.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain consistency of product performance, functional and physical attributes with requirements, design, and operational information throughout system lifecycles
  • Implement configuration management processes in accordance with DoD and Air Force standards
  • Manage Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities including planning, scheduling, and documentation
  • Review and evaluate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), and Request for Deviations (RFDs)
  • Conduct Configuration Identification activities including review of specifications, drawings, and in-process reviews
  • Support Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)
  • Maintain Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) databases and track fielded system configurations
  • Manage Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs)
  • Track delivery and government approval of contract technical data
  • Support data calls, reviews, and preparation of data call documentation
  • Review engineering drawings for compliance with contractual requirements and standards
  • Manage deficiency reporting using Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS)
  • Maintain configuration management and data management files and documentation
  • Prepare Comment Resolution Matrices (CRMs) for technical document reviews

Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field required
Years of Experience: 7 years of configuration management and data management experience in DoD programs
Additional Experience:
  • Experience with MIL-STD-973 configuration management standards
  • Knowledge of engineering drawing standards and technical data packages
  • Familiarity with CITIS and configuration management tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
