Job description

Overview

VTG is seeking a Lab Manager to support our client on-site in our Washington DC Office.

What will you do?
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for lab operations.
  • Coordinate facility usage and scheduling activities.
  • Manage access coordination and badging activities.
  • Coordinate infrastructure support requests and facility maintenance actions.
  • Support equipment receipt, staging, and accountability.
  • Coordinate with Government and contractor personnel regarding operational requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of facility operational status and readiness.
  • Support configuration tracking and workspace organization.
  • Coordinate issue resolution associated with facility operations, utilities, and connectivity.
  • Provide recurring status updates regarding lab operational readiness.
Do you have what it takes? Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience as supporting information technology, network infrastructure, systems integration, or operational support environments.
  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy operational environments and demonstrate familiarity with integration labs, shipboard systems, C5ISR infrastructure, network-enabled environments, and operational coordination within multi-user technical facilities.
Clearance & Travel
  • Active TS/SCI at the time of application

Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $150,000 - $250,000/annually which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
