Legal Assistant


Robert Half has partnered with a prestigious Denver law firm on a search for a 5 plus years experienced transactional Legal Practice Assistant to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished legal support professional who enjoys working with busy attorneys in a real estate and transactional practice and thrives in a sophisticated, fast-paced legal environment.

The firm is seeking someone who is proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate attorney needs while managing multiple priorities independently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complex attorney calendars, scheduling, and competing priorities

Coordinate and monitor business travel arrangements

Create and maintain electronic client and matter files

Track administrative and client-related deadlines, including time entry and billing

Prepare and process expense reimbursements

Draft, format, proofread, and revise correspondence and legal documents

Prepare and submit filings and other documents to governmental agencies

Prepare materials and binders for meetings, hearings, and client engagements

Coordinate internal and external meetings, including Zoom, A/V, catering, and other logistics

Assist with various administrative and special projects as needed

Qualifications

5+ years of Legal Practice Assistant experience, preferably in a law firm environment

Experience supporting attorneys in real estate, transactional, or corporate practices strongly preferred

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

Strong proofreading, written, and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload independently

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook

• At least 5 years of experience in a Legal Practice Assistant or Legal Assistant role, preferably within a law firm.
• Background supporting attorneys in real estate, transactional, corporate, or commercial legal work is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized, manage multiple assignments, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Excellent proofreading, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Experience handling calendar management, legal documentation, and administrative support for complex matters.
• Familiarity with commercial contracts, real estate documents, and transactional legal processes is highly valued.
