Job description

Geodesicx, Inc. is looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team in the Chesapeake, VA area. 


Position Overview:

The Senior Contracts Administrator will play a critical role in managing and administering contracts throughout their lifecycle. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of DoD contracting and accounting processes, FAR/DFARS compliance, and experience working in a fast-paced small business environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Administration & Compliance
    • Execute Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements
    • Manage subcontractor agreements, certificates of insurance, and maintain Representations & Certifications
    • Review and apply subcontractor flow-down clauses
    • Handle contract correspondence and task order requirements
    • Assist with periodic proposal actions
  • Financial & System Support
    • Perform JAMIS entry and record updates
    • Assist with ICE submittals and accounting support
    • Support DCMA/DCAA data calls and audits
  • Customer & Internal Support
    • Interface with new customers and support quote preparation and submission
    • Assist with eCraft, SCA and DBA tracking
    • Manage contract closeouts and de-obligations
    • Maintain Contract Log files and ensure weekly updates
  • Reporting & Documentation
    • Assist with Quote Process
    • Support subcontractor management and compliance tracking


Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 5+ years of experience in DoD contract administration
    • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
    • Proficiency with JAMIS or similar ERP systems
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with Federal, State, DoD/C5ISR-related contracts
    • Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance
    • Prior small business contracting experience


Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and hold an active US security clearance at a level of SECRET or higher
