Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Officer with his or her CCB Credentials to service our marijuana dispensaries in the Las Vegas area. The Armed CCB Security officer will protect property, assets and personnel of our contracted site/customer. This role requires a highly responsible individual capable of maintaining safety and security in various environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Armed Security with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and maintain order. Applicants that have CCB experience is a plus.

Duties

  • Monitor premises and report findings when needed.
  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Enforce security policy and procedures regarding the post orders to prevent theft, vandalism or unauthorized access.
  • Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills.
  • Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports.
  • Assist with loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets and inventory.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary during investigations or incidents.
  • Perform access control duties by verifying credentials and maintaining secure entry points.

Skills

  • Valid and active PILB and Firearm Guard Card.
  • Valid and active CCB Card for Vendor.
  • Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security operations role is preferred.
  • Strong surveillance skills preferred.
  • Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities.
  • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Strong report writing skills for incidents and shift reports.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and discretion

This position requires an active armed PILB card for the state of Nevada, and an active CCB (Cannabis Contractor) Card.
