Job Summary:
South Windsor Delivery Corp is looking for reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team. Drivers are an important part of our daily operations, helping ensure packages are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. We’re looking for individuals who are dependable, professional, and enjoy providing great customer service.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and staying active in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle while completing assigned pickup and delivery routes.
  • Ensure packages are delivered accurately, securely, and within scheduled timeframes.
  • Load, organize, and unload packages efficiently to maintain route productivity and service standards.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes while complying with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Verify package accuracy and maintain proper delivery records and documentation for completed stops.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining a courteous, professional, and customer-focused attitude during all customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and management teams to optimize delivery schedules and promptly communicate any delays, incidents, or operational issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of the assigned delivery vehicle.
  • Immediately report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, damages, or traffic violations to management.
  • Adhere to all company operational procedures, safety standards, and delivery protocols.
  • Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times while maintaining a strong work ethic and professional appearance.
Qualifications:
  • **No CDL License Required **
  • Must be 21 Years or above
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to clear Pre-employment Background and Drug Screening
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
  • Ability to lift packages up 100lbs to 150 Ibs bending, lifting, and maneuvering in and out of delivery truck to Front door or access point of delivery address
