W2 company driver On-Call position

This is an on-call role with no guaranteed weekly hours. Availability and flexibility are required.

This position is ideal for drivers seeking supplemental income or a flexible work schedule.

Equipment

New diesel and electric box trucks.

Maintained under a strict and consistent preventative maintenance program - we operate only safe, clean, and well-maintained vehicles.

Position Overview

Strange Trip Inc. is hiring dependable and professional CDL Class A, B, or C on-call drivers to support our growing team.

This is a great fit for Uber, Lyft, or other gig workers who want extra income and a steady, reliable company to call home.

When called in to work, you'll run a dedicated local route departing around 3:00 – 5:00 AM from Ontario, CA. We operate 7 days a week

You'll be paid $300 for the route anytime you are called in to cover

Paid training with an experienced driver provided.

The work involves touch freight - scanning, loading, and unloading boxes for final-mile and dedicated shipper customers.

Customer expectations are high, so we're looking for drivers who are punctual, careful, and detail-oriented, and who take pride in doing the job right.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A, B, or C license
  • Clean MVR and criminal background
  • Prior truck-driving experience strongly preferred
