We’re looking for a relationship-driven Account Manager - Fire Alarm Services who can build trust quickly, grow customer partnerships, and expand both project and recurring service business across the region. align solutions with BC Fire Code regulations and NFPA standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Hit the ground running developing new business through referrals, networking, tender platforms, and industry relationships
  • Build strong relationships with facility managers, property managers, contractors, consultants, and key decision-makers
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities for inspections, monitoring, preventative maintenance, recurring service agreements, deficiency repairs, system upgrades, retrofits, and modernization projects
  • Drive recurring service revenue growth while supporting long-term customer retention and account development
  • Conduct site visits, assess customer needs, and recommend practical fire alarm and life safety solutions
  • Present solutions confidently to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers while establishing yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Manage pipeline activity, customer opportunities, and account visibility using CRM tools (Inspect Point and Hubspot)
  • Collaborate with engineering, service, inspections, and project teams to deliver accurate quotes, technical solutions, and project support
  • Participate in manufacturer training, certifications, trade shows, and industry events while staying current on market trends and competitor activity
  • Promote safe work practices and safety leadership in all aspects of the role

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within fire alarm, security, building systems, electrical, or technical sales environments.
  • Proven ability to hit the ground running, develop new business quickly, and grow existing customer relationships
  • Experience or familiarity with fire alarm systems, inspections, monitoring, and life safety services
  • Knowledge of major manufacturers including Siemens, Mircom, Simplex, Edwards, Notifier, and Autocall is considered a strong asset
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand customer operations and recommend practical solutions
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline, prioritize opportunities, and maintain accurate CRM activity
  • Comfortable working independently within a territory-based role while collaborating with engineering, service, and technical teams
  • Organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented in a fast-moving sales environment
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual English/French is considered an asset.
