QUICK OVERVIEW (TL;DR)
We're hiring a Mitigation Crew Chiefan experienced restoration professional who can lead field operations, maintain accurate documentation, and deliver high-quality work on every job. This role serves as the bridge between Technician and Project Manager, with a clear path to Associate Project Manager for top performers. You'll help keep projects on track through safe work practices, strong communication, and complete job documentation.
THE ROLE WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
  • Lead mitigation crews and execute projects safely and efficiently.
  • Manage company vehicles, equipment, and jobsite setup/tear-down.
  • Perform moisture mapping, equipment calculations, and daily monitoring.
  • Maintain complete job documentation, including photos, logs, and work authorizations.
  • Use mobile apps, DocuSketch, and other documentation platforms.
  • Partner with Project Managers and estimators to support billing, claims compliance, and project progress.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and building staff.
  • Assist with inspections, emergency response, and on-call rotation.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 5+ years of restoration/mitigation experience in residential and commercial settings.
  • At least one IICRC certification required (WRT preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to maintain high standards.
  • Strong understanding of safety, containment, and documentation best practices.
  • Comfortable with technology, organized, and dependable.
  • Valid driver's license required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • DocuSketch proficiency.
  • Experience with TPAs (Contractor Connection, etc.).
  • Knowledge of psychrometrics.
  • Large-loss or complex commercial restoration experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Hourly pay range: $22-$30/hr (based on experience and certifications)
  • Overtime opportunities, weekly pay, benefits eligibility, including PTO, 401(k) with match, medical reimbursement, and training/development support.
